  • Caring for our Community

    "Scouts in the Community — Good Turn Week Care Packages" has grown from an idea developed by two Rovers into a Good Turn that will involve multiple Scouts and Scouters from Cascadia Council in British Columbia.
  • Scouting Spring Clean-up

    For over 100 years, Scouts across Canada have demonstrated their concern for the environment through conservation, reforestation and, sometimes, cleaning up what others may have left behind.
  • Sponsor a Meal

    This project looks to assist the Edmonton Mustard Seed by serving hot meals to those in need in the local area.
  • Portaging for a Mission

    This project has Scouting members, along with other members of the community, collecting donations for a local homeless shelter called Siloam Mission.
  • One for the Books

    Big things are happening in Cochrane, Ontario with the 1st Cochrane Scout Group as they prepare to launch their book share program for Scouts Canada’s Good Turn Week.
  • Scouts Plant Positivity

    The 1st Portland Estates Scout Group will be seeding trees and native flowers in the Portland Estates and Hills area, helping to improve the diminishing bee and monarch butterfly populations.
  • First Kings Cub Pack Food Drive

    The 1st Kingston Cub Scouts are setting out to make a major impact on their local food banks. Working with Atlantic Superstore, T&S Signage and Greenwood Auto Sales, 1st Kingston hopes to amass food donations while strengthening their community ties.
  • Toronto Cleanup with E-waste drive

    For this year’s Good Turn Week, the 401st Venturers will be holding an e-waste drive to collect broken and used electronics. We would like to make it convenient for community residents to safely dispose of the electronic waste when they do their spring cleaning.
  • Updating the Hall

    Over the years, the Group has been looking for an opportunity to give back to their sponsor and local community who has been helping them for 35 years.
  • Scouts Help Revitalize Youth Shelter

    The 26th St. Peters Venturers are helping to beautify YESS' youth emergency shelter. YESS assists youth aged 13-17 by providing shelter, tools and the support they need to build their futures.
  • Westmount Park Revitalization

    London area Scout Groups including the 80th Beaver Scouts, Cubs Scouts, Scouts, Ventures and Rovers in accompany with the City Of London, schools and businesses will be Building an observation deck in Westmount Park.
  • The Great Scouts Collection Blitz

    Members of the 1st Torbay Scout Group will be setting up at various locations throughout the community collecting non-perishables, clothes, books and pet supplies.
  • Providing Help — Providing Hope

    The 1st MacDonald Drive Beavers, Cubs and Scouts along with their Scouters from St. John’s, Newfoundland are providing help and hope to local families as part of their Good Turn Week community project.
  • Scouts Support Families

    The 18th St. Thomas Cub Pack wanted to make a positive impact on local families and youth affected by cancer. Together, they decided to contribute program supplies to Camp Trillium.
